Trivia News Round-up
Hey there everyone! As some of you already know, I have been without a computer for the last sixteen days, so I haven’t been in a position to do my usual tasks like respond to e-mails in a timely manner or post updates here on the site. At any rate, I am back in Appleton now, and am making use of my parents’ computer for the time being.
While I wait for my luggage to be delivered — it didn’t arrive with me on the plane from Chicago this morning — so I can change clothes, I thought I’d post links to a few stories.
First, we have the story in the Post-Crescent about this year’s contest:
LU’s annual trivia contest, kicking off Friday, feels a connection.
Second, we have the press release from Lawrence:
50-Hour Salute to the Insignificant Takes Center Stage as Lawrence University Hosts 46th Annual Trivia Contest.
And third, we have a seperate Lawrence press release about Grand Master Derrell Acon (so don’t say I didn’t warn you if there’s a question about this, or, say, a whole hour devoted to opera…):
Derrell Acon Wins Metropolitan Opera District Audition.
Now I’m going to go take a nap, but I look forward to seeing some of you tonight and the rest this weekend!
